The Ecumenical resource Centre, inaugurated on the 25th of September 1999, has residential facility with conference hall and seminar rooms available for local, national and international conferences.



The ERC located in the UTC campus is five minutes away from the Cantonment Railway Station. A place ideally suited to conduct your meetings, conferences and seminars. This building was specially designed to meet the growing needs of churches and non-governmental organisations, looking for reasonable, well-equipped and comfortable facilities for their meetings and conferences. Since its completion, the ERC, because of its ideal location, reasonable tariffs and an all inclusive has been patronized by some of the leading NGOs and church related institutions both nationally and internationally.

The ERC has a total of 44 rooms with bath attached, hot and cold water facility and telephones. The rooms are well furnished and meet international standards.

The four Conference halls provide excellent facilities for meetings, seminars and training programmes.

Board Room - This small room can accommodate 10 to 12 people and any kind of arrangements required by the participants can be made.
 


Charles Ranson Hall, First Floor - This conference hall is located on the first floor of the Charles Ranson Hall.
     It is air-conditioned and accommodates 25 to 30 people. It has a fixed elliptical table. The room is fully carpeted and air-conditioned. Black and White board and over headed projector are provided. The rooms are well ventilated and provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for seminars, meeting and conferences.

ERC First Floor - This first floor hall in the Ecumenical Resource Center accommodates up to 75 Participants. The well equipped hall with comfortable chairs can be arranged according to your requirements and classroom arrangements for training session, round table seminar facility or any other arrangements as desired. Black and white board and overhead projector are provided. The rooms are well ventilated and provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for seminars, meetings and conferences.

ERC Second Floor - The ERC second floor conference facility can accommodate upto 125 people, auditorium arrangements and upto 100 people for U shaped seminar arrangements. The hall is equipped with built- in audio system with speaker and with board, flip chart and overhead projector facilities, Other equipments such as slide projector, VCR and Television can be provided on request.

Dining Hall - The dining hall is a facility attached to the ERC and provides all meals for residents and participants. Those utilizing the conference facility and rooms can order their lunch and dinner on a daily basis. Breakfast is provided along with the room charges. We provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals and have the facility to provide for up to 100 people at a time. Conference tea/coffee with or without snacks are also available.
