Bride takes groom to task over dowry demand

A wedding in a village in Bengal's Durgapur district turned into a battleground as a bride
declared enough was enough after the groom's family demanded more dowry.
She stormed out of the ceremony giving the groom a mouthful as she left.
Angry villagers then surrounded the groom and his relatives. While his family
managed to flee, the groom was held hostage for more than 15 hours till the
police came and rescued him.
